1 Hour to Younger Neck and Décolletage

You probably pay a lot of attention to protecting and caring for the skin on your face.

But if you’re ignoring your neck and décolletage, you can end up looking older than your years.

You see, the skin on your chest and neck is even more fragile and delicate than the skin on your face. It contains fewer oil-producing sebaceous glands, which makes it more prone to drying out. And dehydrated skin doesn’t just look dull. It makes wrinkles and crepiness more obvious.

Then there’s the exposure to the environment, age, gravity — and even the way you sleep. All work together to cause even more damage.

Dermatologists and plastic surgeons will offer you a chemical peel or a neck lift. But these procedures are invasive and painful — and expensive. You’ll also need weeks of recovery time.

I offer the patients at the Sears Institute for Anti-Aging Medicine another solution. It’s a fast and easy procedure that erases years of skin damage and many of the most common signs of aging in just a few minutes… and with very little recovery time.

I’m talking about microneedling with PRP.

This therapy harnesses your body’s own natural healing powers to repair and rejuvenate your chest and neck. It reduces wrinkles and smooths crepey skin — leaving your décolletage brighter, tighter and more youthful.

During the treatment, I use a medical device studded with very fine needles that vibrate. When I place it against the patient’s skin, it delivers hundreds of micro punctures per second.

The tiny needles break some of the blood vessels directly below the surface of the skin. As the blood clots, it creates the right conditions for collagen and elastin to form.

You already know that collagen and elastin support your skin’s underlying foundation.

Revive Your Aging Neck and Chest in 1 Hour

There’s another anti-aging therapy that takes microneedling to a whole new level. It’s called platelet-rich plasma (PRP). PRP uses natural compounds from your own blood to regenerate skin and revitalize collagen.

A small amount of the PRP is set aside and then applied to your skin before your microneedling treatment. The platelets attract stem cells to the damaged area. Once they get there, the stem cells multiply rapidly to grow new, healthy tissue.

Platelets also contain hundreds of growth factors. These proteins help heal wounds at least two to three times faster than normal.

Studies show injecting PRP in the face and neck revitalizes skin.1 In one study of 10 volunteers, doctors saw a significant improvement in skin firmness and less sagging. The volunteers also saw a big improvement in their general appearance and less wrinkling.2

Other studies show PRP rejuvenates photo-aged or sun-damaged skin. PRP injections led to less wrinkling and better skin regeneration.3

PRP takes only about an hour. It doesn’t leave behind bruising, swelling or bleeding the way chemical peels, laser therapy or microdermabrasion can. You may get mild swelling, redness, or bruising but it fades within one to three days.

If you are considering PRP microneedling to remove wrinkles and crepey skin from your neck and chest, please call the Sears Institute at 561-784-7852. We are happy to answer any questions you have.

Reverse Neck Aging Easily at Home

Even if you can’t have PRP therapy, you can reverse the signs of neck and chest aging. New research has found two compounds that can restore the breakdown of collagen and elastin and improve skin tightness and elasticity.

  1. Apply this powerful protein. Studies show that a protein called hexapeptide-10 stimulates the formation of the vital building blocks of the dermo-epidermal junction.4 In other words, hexapeptide-10 restores the connection between the dermal and epidermal layers of skin. This improves skin tightness and elasticity.

In the study, hexapeptide-10 was tested on healthy volunteers for 60 days. It not only boosted skin elasticity, skin compactness improved by 53%. It also enhanced skin tone by 46%.

  2. Life and firm with Alp flower. Edelweiss has adapted to survive some of the most brutal growing conditions. An extract from the flower helps skin in the same way. Studies show that edelweiss is full of anti-aging compounds that heal, soothe and calm stressed-out skin.5

They include chlorogenic acid and luteolin, two powerful antioxidants that can protect your skin against all kinds of toxins and free radicals. In fact, edelweiss extract is twice as strong as vitamin C when it comes to fighting free radicals.

This is a technique that I recommend patients use when applying these ingredients to the neck and chest:

  • Tilt your head back and lift your chin toward the ceiling while moving your jaw forward. This strengthens your neck muscles.
  • Apply the neck cream with vigorous upward strokes using your entire palm. Then repeat the exercise.
  • Do this 20 times every night.
