What a Doll

Barbie doll, born Barbara Millicent Roberts, and I are the same age — we’re both over 50 — and we both look better than ever. In fact, I’d even say we’re Aging Backwards.

Now

She’s been a pediatrician, firefighter, astronaut, racecar driver, rock star, veterinarian, ambassador for world peace and even United States President. That’s quite an impressive resume and only a few of the illustrious careers that Barbie doll, the brainchild of Ruth Handler whose husband Elliot co-founded the Mattel toy company, has held.

How can you stay as young and vibrant as Barbie? Here are a few tips:

  • Exercise is the fountain of youth. Trick yourself into working out by dancing or jumping rope with your kids. You’ll have so much fun you’ll forget it’s good for you.

  • Barbie knows how to accessorize. Skip the fashion fads – try dressing in more simple colors and styles. Use accessories such as scarves, jewelry and belts to add pizzazz to your wardrobe.
  • Try a virtual makeover absolutely free. TAAZ.com is realistic and fun. You can upload your own photo and try on all kinds of makeup and celebrity hairstyles with just the click of a mouse. Try on foundation, lipstick, blush, eye shadow, mascara and more, thin your eyebrows and plump your lips, shape the hairstyle you picked and change hair color too.

Looking younger doesn’t have to be overwhelming or time-consuming. Making just a few small changes, practiced over time, can lead to big results.

To Your Youthful Skin,
