Beauty Concierge, Barbara Kimbugwe’s
Surprising Result from a Mother-Daughter Skin Make-Over-They Can Pass for Sisters!
Hello… I would like to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Barbara Kimbugwe and I am the patient concierge at the Sears Institute for Anti-Aging.
I’ve been asked to tell some of the stories of clients who come to the clinic. This is one about a mother and daughter who were here not long ago…
Cindy has been a patient for many years. On a recent visit, she brought her daughter Jen with her. Jen came to the front desk and announced: “I want to look as good as my mom.”
Today, Jen and her mom could pass for sisters.
Jen and her mom can practically pass for sisters, thanks to age-reversing DNA therapy they got.
They both have the flawless, tight, glowing skin of much younger women.
Neither mother nor daughter was interested in disfiguring plastic surgery or harsh chemical peels. Botox was also a no-go. They were looking for a natural way to turn back the clock.
This is where the Sears Institute is different from every other clinic you may have heard of…
You see, the key to reversing skin aging starts deep down at the DNA level with your telomeres.
Telomeres are tiny bits of genetic material at the end of each strand of DNA in your cells. They protect your DNA and determine your cells’ lifespan. Every time your cells divide, your telomeres get shorter.
And the shorter your telomeres become, the faster you age. This leads to the wrinkles, dullness, age spots and sagging we associate with old age.
But you can delay the shortening of your telomeres by activating an enzyme that rebuilds them. The discovery of this substance, called telomerase, was such a breakthrough that it won the 2009 Nobel Prize in Medicine.
One of the best ways to activate telomerase – and erase decades of wear and tear from your face – is with an herb called Uncaria tomentosa – or cat’s claw.
Lately, researchers have really started to take notice of cat’s claw and its unique anti-aging effect on your skin’s DNA…
For instance, researchers in Sweden showed that cat’s claw extract helps defend against DNA damage – and promotes DNA repair – in a group of older volunteers.1
At the Sears Institute for Anti-Aging, we apply a unique telomerase-activating cat’s claw formula to patients’ skin to jump-start the repair process.
I understand not everyone can come to the clinic. But you can start to reverse your skin DNA easily at home.
Sip a Cup of Age-Reversing Cat’s Claw Tea
My favorite way to enjoy cat’s claw is to drink a cup of tea. It’s easy to make – and when sweetened naturally, it tastes good.
Barbara Kimbugwe is the former Miss Uganda.
- Pour boiling water into a cup and add a few drops of lemon juice. The acid from the lemon will release the tannins in the tea.
- Add 1 to 2 teaspoons of ground cat’s claw to a tea strainer. If you are using cat’s claw bark, add one to two average-sized pieces.
- Let steep for five to 10 minutes. Remove the strainer from the cup. If you are using bark, remove the bark with a spoon.
- Sweeten to taste. I like adding honey and spices to improve the taste.
To Your Good Health,
